Riding with Roddie | Season I (2024-2025)

Riding with Roddie is a dynamic web series that offers an unfiltered look at the daily operations of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS), with a spotlight on traffic enforcement. Created, filmed, and produced by Red Watch Media founder Zach Hamelton, the series follows PSO II Ryan Roddie, a member of the KDPS Traffic Enforcement Unit and the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team, as he navigates the challenges and lighter moments of public safety.

From humorous traffic stops and bizarre excuses to high-stakes incidents like shots fired calls, fires, and high-speed chases, the series provides an authentic and engaging view of the diverse roles public safety officers play. Through the Smoke (2024)

Through the Smoke is a groundbreaking documentary series that provides an intimate and powerful look into the lives of the firefighters at the Haines City Fire Department. Developed, filmed, produced, edited, and distributed entirely by Red Watch Media founder Zach Hamelton, who also worked as the department’s PIO.

As Apple TV's Senior Coordinator on Crowded Room, Zach was responsible for delivering and reviewing vendor studio work, coordinating key meetings, assisting with artist mockups for concept designs, and conducting in-depth research to support the series' creative and visual development.

SEASON ONE:

For season one Zach was assigned as the primary coordinator and his tasks on the project were as follows; project setup, tracking artist shot progression, show progression, and ensuring the team was able to hit all deadlines on time and under budget. During post-production, he was the main point of contact for the client and set up/ran all Cinesync sessions. He was also responsible for tracking and distributing all graphics and assets to artists on the project. Lastly, Zach handled the majority of I/O-related tasks and deliveries of VFX work to the client via various file transfer services.

The Cleaning Lady | Season I (2022)

Lastly, Zach handled the majority of I/O related tasks and deliveries of VFX work to the client via various file transfer services.

Banana Split (2020)

On this project I was tasked with being the in-house VFX Coordinator. My tasks included managing shot and show progress. Working with an outsource vendor for various paint work. Quality checking all material, and delivering to the client. Also, I was in charge of setting up and running review sessions.
